WOTE gives a particular attention to medical caravans, in the light of its initiative to provide the best medical services to Egyptian citizens residing in remote areas and the poorest villages throughout the Republic, as it believes that prevention is better than cure. Therefore, WOTE organized many medical caravans in the concept of field hospitals to provide the proper treatment for each case.
A cooperation agreement was concluded between the WOTE and Magrabi Eye Hospitals to organize a large number of eye examination medical caravans in a number of villages in Bani Sweif, Fayoum, Qena, Aswan and the New Valley and other governorates and hamlets of Egypt. Such caravans achieved impressive results
• The Foundation also concluded an agreement with the Faculty of Medicine of Ain Shams University to carry out Bedaya medical caravans for the second consecutive year in a number of villages in Fayoum by providing for the first time two blood chemistry analysis apparatuses for lab functions of the caravan.
A cooperation was made with Kasr El-Aini Hospital caravans, which covered several governorates, including the New Valley and Aswan, to examine patients in more than 20 specialties for the first time in upper Egypt
