The cooperation between WOTE and the Blood Bank Service Center started since 2018. The total amount of support provided by WOTE over 3 years is more than 5.5 million pounds, represented in the following:
Upgrading 4 Blood Donation Vehicles collecting blood from outside hospitals, in an amount of more than half million pounds, which encouraged citizens to donate blood in a safe setting. The Bank launched for the first time blood campaigns in resorts and prestigious cities after the vehicles became safe for donors in terms of facilities and safety
Operating the Unit of Plateletpheresis and Plasmspheresis, after being suspended for long times, by providing consumables of platelet aggregation and plasmspheresis consumables, in an amount of more than 4 million pounds.
Providing the Bank with Plateletpheresis and Plasmspheresis Equipment, in an amount of one million pounds, which contributed to the provision of platelets and the collection of plasma from patients recovered from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
