The Specialized University Children Hospital (Abul-Reesh Mounira Hospital)
In an important step to eliminate the waiting lists in the Department of Pediatric Surgery in Abul-Reesh Munira Hospital, WOTE established operating theaters and ICU rooms in Abul-Reesh Mounira Children Hospital. WOTE is currently equipping the suites and providing apparatuses, equipment and supplies necessary for the operation.
WOTE developed and equipped the general surgery units (the first and second phases). It renewed the operation suite consisting of 6 operating theaters and their entire annexes, equipped them with equipment and supplies and furnished doctors' lounges. The first and second phases have been finished and the third phase is still in progress (the Nephrology Unit).
In the same vein, WOTE supplied medical equipment and necessary supplies for the inauguration and operation of the operation suite.
WOTE also gave support to physicians and nurses in Abul-Reesh Mounira Hospital, which has had a positive impact in performing a large number of operations, for example:
An E.N.T surgery.
A brain and neurology operation.
A pediatric surgery.
The plan of WOTE includes rendering the General Surgery Unit of Abul-Reesh Mounira Hospital one of the excellence centers; in terms of infection control, preservation of patients' health and safety and developing and equipping the Kidney Transplantation and Care Unit (the third phase – under construction)
