The Specialized University Children Hospital (Abul-Reesh Japanese Hospital)
Our journey in Abul-Reesh Japanese Hospital extended to almost 15 years. The Foundation provided all types of support in the framework of the cooperation protocol signed with Cairo University. This experience proved the possibility to introduce a positive change and development.

WOTE designed an integrated scheme for development by working on several axes, such as developing capabilities of human resources, particularly nursing, and developing the infrastructure of the internal departments and the service sector in the hospital.

  • Renovating and upgrading ICUs.
  • Preparing a waiting room for patients' relatives connected with various departments of surgery.
  • Replacement and renovation the equipment in the Radiology Department.
  • Providing a large number of medical supplies required by the Hospital's units and departments.
  • Paying monthly bonuses to the nursing staff for their ongoing giving
  • The Foundation developed and equipped lounges for physicians and on-call personnel

WOTE concluded a tripartite agreement between the Faculty of Medicine of Cairo University and the JCI to take necessary actions to have the Hospital certified according to the international quality standards.
